The Creative Process
Panic Room by Silent Planet is one of their most thought-provoking tracks off of their second album titled, Everything Was Sound. The song deals with the topic of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from the perspective of an American soldier, based on a true story. The track also touches on other forms of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and panic disorder - which gave birth to this project. I wanted to capture the eeriness and the dis-ease of mental illness from the perspective of someone on the outside looking in.
